We collect first name, last name, email, phone number, stay dates, number of guests and any requests you write. They are needed to conclude and manage the booking: the legal basis is performance of the contract.

This data is stored on our server and sent to Smoobu, the system that keeps the booking calendar.

Card details are collected by Stripe directly on its payment page: they do not pass through us and we do not store them. For each payment we keep the reference, the amount and the outcome.

We keep booking data for as long as tax and accounting obligations require, ten years.

The text you write is sent to Google, which generates the answer using the Gemini model. On the free plan we use, Google may use the content to improve its services: that is why the notice in the chat asks you not to write personal data there, and messages containing it are stopped before being sent.

We do not keep conversations. Only questions the assistant could not answer are noted down, so we can see what the site is missing: we save the text of the question and the language, with no IP address and nothing that could identify who wrote it, and we delete them after thirty days.

To limit abuse we count requests per IP address. The address is never stored in clear: only a cryptographic fingerprint of it is kept, in memory, and it disappears on restart.

Map imagery comes from OpenFreeMap and terrain elevation data from a public archive hosted on Amazon Web Services. When you open that page your IP address is technically visible to those services, as with any image loaded from another site.

Neither sets cookies and neither receives information about you beyond what is needed to deliver the imagery.

No cookie is set for people who simply visit the site. We use neither Google Analytics nor any other measurement tool, and there are no advertising or profiling cookies: that is why there is no banner to accept.

Technical cookies are used only in the restricted areas — the management panel and the guest's personal area — to keep a signed-in session open. They are strictly necessary and require no consent.

Fonts are served from our own domain: the browser does not contact Google Fonts.

The server hosting the site records accesses, as all servers do: IP address, time of the request, page requested and browser type. They keep the service running and protect it from abuse, and are kept for the period set by the hosting configuration.

We do not sell data and we do not pass it to anyone for advertising purposes.

Google's and Stripe's services may involve a transfer of data to the United States. Such transfers take place on the basis of the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission and the safeguards provided by the respective agreements.

You can ask us at any time to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict its processing, receive it in a readable format or object to the processing. Write to info@terrazzasulvesuvio.it and we reply within a month.

If you believe the processing breaches the rules, you may complain to the Italian data protection authority (garanteprivacy.it).

The site is not intended for children under fourteen and we do not knowingly collect their data. Bookings may only be made by adults.

If the way we handle data changes — a new provider, one more field, a different retention period — we update this page and the date at the top.
