Terrazza sul Vesuvio is a small family-run property in Terzigno, inside Vesuvius National Park. Three self-contained places to stay, a panoramic pool and terraces facing the volcano.
We are close enough to the Pompeii ruins to get there in fifteen minutes, and far enough from the traffic to hear the quiet in the evening. It makes a good base for Pompeii, Herculaneum, Naples and the Amalfi Coast without sleeping in the middle of it all.

How far is Terrazza sul Vesuvio from the Pompeii ruins?
Fifteen minutes by car. The property is in Terzigno, at Via Avini 71, on the side of Vesuvius facing Pompeii. Parking is free both here and near the archaeological site.
How do you get up to the Vesuvius crater?
By car. The Vesuvius National Park entrance is five minutes from us; from there you drive up to the car park at 1,000 metres, where the footpath to the Gran Cono begins. Access has to be booked in advance: tickets and reservations are sold online only, on the Park's official website.
Is there a pool, and is it always open?
Yes, a panoramic pool facing Vesuvius, open from 10:00 to 21:00 during the summer season. It is closed in the winter months.
Is the pool for private use?
No, the pool is shared between the three apartments in the property. The garden around it is very large, though: there is room for every guest at once, and there are enough sunbeds for everyone. With only three stays you share it with a handful of people, not with a whole hotel.
How many guests can each place sleep?
Elizabeth's Suite and Mini Suite are 35 m² and sleep up to 5 people each. Terrazza sul Vesuvio is a 100 m² apartment for up to 8. All have their own kitchen and bathroom.
Is it cheaper to book here or on the booking sites?
Here. We take 20% off the stay compared with the booking sites and guarantee the lowest price: find the same stay for less elsewhere and we refund the difference. There are no booking fees.
Is it suitable for families with children?
Yes. Each stay has a kitchen and washing machine, the pool has a shallow area, and we provide a cot on request. Children up to 5 stay at a reduced rate in the existing beds.
How do I get there without a car?
On request we arrange a shuttle to and from Naples Capodichino airport and the railway stations. Write to us before you arrive to agree a time and price.
Can I smoke or bring a pet?
Smoking is not allowed inside. For pets, write to us before booking — we look at each request individually.
